To help raise awareness for protesters who have been jailed and killed in Iran we are organizing a flashmob Freeze on Saturday August 8. At the sound of the whistle (exactly 12:00 noon) we will freeze for 2 minutes.

*** Please DO NOT bring any flags, signs, or anything distinguishing you from the regular crowd. ***

DO wear something green or black.

Arrive at the square at least 15 minutes before 12:00 noon and blend in with the regular crowd. At the sound of the whistle (12:00 noon) freeze in the same position (whether it is talking to a friend, drinking a coffee, tying your shoelace, etc.) for 2 minutes. When you hear the second whistle unfreeze and continue on your way.

Hi Everyone,

Get ready for an amazing show of support tomorrow for protestors who have been jailed and killed in Iran. As planned, we will all head down to Dundas Square and Freeze for 2 minutes at exactly 12:00 noon.

**** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE BY 11:45AM ****

Green Tape and Signs: I will be there at 11:30am next to the Information Desk at the South West end of the square. If you wish, you can cover your mouth or tie your hands together with green tape. I have several simple signs that read:

"I AM NEDA"
"I AM SOHRAB"
"STOP HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN IRAN"

Please come and take one if you wish.


DO BLEND in with the regular crowd at the square. DO wear GREEN and black.

At exactly 12:00 noon I will sound a whistle. FREEZE whatever you are doing in the exact same position. Be creative!

After 2 minutes, I will sound another whistle - unfreeze and go about whatever you were doing before.

Following the demonstration, we can gather at the south west corner of the square to sing a few songs to support those in Iran who have no human rights.
