I have been watching Iran for several weeks. The lead up to the election and this unprecedented uprising against obviously false results is an inspiration to all people who value democracy, freedom and human rights.

I want to express my sincerest well-wishes and solidarity to any Iranians reading this, be they in the streets or abroad.

Hold fast, your fight is seen, your voice will not be silenced.

We sit on our ass and let our government step on us unwilling to risk any thing because things haven't gotten bad enough.
