Running it now on my Mac. It says: "Unhandled exception in thread started by <bound method SlowLoris" and then some more. It also says it has a growing number of "worker threads" and "open connections". Is it working? That damned gerdab site is still up... |

Now trying this pyloris command, probably more effective:
Code:
python pyloris-1.6.py -l -s 600000 -g "/fa/pages/?cid=407"-u "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.172.31 Safari/530.5" -w 0.1 -t 25 We could use some expert help here! |

New version of Pyloris fixes it?
SourceForge.net: PyLoris also just about to correct the coding above

BTW I tried the slowloris.pl approach too; it ate half my CPU cycles. I'd prefer to stich with this python script. But does anyone know if I need to escape that question mark. Been trying that, and everything runs fine, but I never get past 150 worker threads and 239 open connections. Is that how it's suppposed to be? |

Fixes the problem back up at post 104.
I'm a bit of a newby if I'm honest at all this. I've had to become a bit of an inbetweeny getting a few heads on the case. Hello Google translate! lol ![]() Apparently pyloris can be customised by changing the bandwidth, the number of connections, and user agent. Being able to change it means it's harder to catch You seem more adept at the coding than my brain can currently cope with. For now I'm happy I'm contributing. Please keep in mind that in Iran they've no doubt boosted server capacity to try and avoid exactly what we're working on. ![]() Clearly the more of us that use this the more effective it will be. |
