Protests in Iran capital continue, appear more calm - CNN.com
updated minutes ago...
Quote:
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Anti-government protesters took to Tehran's streets for an eighth consecutive day Sunday, but the violence and bloodshed of a day before appeared markedly absent.

The apparent calm came as the public rift among Iranian leaders widened when the country's foreign minister disputed allegations of ballot irregularities even as the parliamentary speaker implied the nation's election authority had sided with one candidate.

Amateur video taken Sunday showed large crowds marching down a major Tehran thoroughfare shouting, "Don't be afraid, we're together!" and "Death to dictator!" A protest also took place at Southern Tehran's Azad University, where final exams were postponed after about 200 students refused to take them.

Thousands of riot police lined the streets of the city, according to witnesses. Many shops were closed, and shopkeepers who were open said they planned to close early. No tanks were seen on the city's streets and vehicle traffic was light.
...................
However, the protests appeared mostly peaceful, in stark contrast to Saturday's bloodshed. Hospital sources said 19 people were killed Saturday in clashes between protesters and police. Unconfirmed reports put the death toll as high as 150.

Government-funded Press TV confirmed 13 fatalities Saturday, saying the deaths resulted from police clashes with "terrorist groups" in Tehran. But the station did not say whether all the deaths took place Saturday or spanned the length of the weeklong protests.....

YouTube - Iranian Protests Turn Deadly
They're soldiers. They are trained to aim for the chest and head. They have been so brain washed by their Islamic revolution that they have dehumanized their own people. That is why the Shah's moves to counter the revolution failed, his soldiers were not mindless drones but rather the brothers, fathers and sons of the people they were shooting at. I normally don't advocate violence but I am seriously concerned that this revolution will fail unless the people do fight back.

The regime is using foreign workers (Afghanis) and their personal minions to crush this. People with nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Yes that's what it appears to say.

Obama doesn't know what he wants other than that he wants to be "friends" even at the price of selling America's soul. I'm glad my hands are not stained with a vote for that fraud.
