Default Disinformation?

Perhaps there's some way to flood this site with disinformation? We'd need a list of random Iranian names and addresses, but not of real people.

This seems like it might be worth considering as well. Brute force DDOS is only so effective, but if they are buried in realistic false information it could be tough for them to use any real results that they get.

Latest Updates on Iran’s Disputed Election - The Lede Blog - NYTimes.com

Quote:
Update | 5:31 p.m. A reader, Jon, writes to say that “a friend in Iran that I have been in touch with via Skype (which seems to work very well)” told him that a specific Web site, Gerdab.ir, is being used by the Iranian government to identify protesters by crowd-sourcing. The Lede has been unable to get the site to load to confirm this (and the site may be under attack from supporters of the protest movement), but the information passed on by the reader suggests that Iranians are being asked to study photographs of protesters taken at demonstrations and then turn them in to the authorities.

Later: A reader points out that Gerdab.ir is back up and is in fact running at least one page of photographs taken at protests, with the faces of 25 protesters circled, and an appeal for information on these people.

Default How I saw it done on CNN..

this is how you crash the sites..
Go to pagereboot.com

paste:
"bultenews.com" ...it refreshes every 30 seconds..overloading the server.

paste on another open page of: pagereboot.com

"gerdab.ir/fa/pages/?cid=407"

and leave it....as long as you can...like until the goverment is over thrown.

I've told people , now you tell people...all the best.

Default wouldn't bad info be better?

why wouldn't everyone just enter incorrect info ... plausible iranian names but not the actual person...

it's far easier for them to simply block non-Iranian IP addresses than it is for them to go through and figure out which names were just random.
