Default Worldwide protest Saturday June 20

A call has gone out for a global day of protest this Saturday June 20th. Please find others and make sure something is arranged for your location by using the geographic subforums.

GLOBAL EVENT SATURDAY-SUNDAY: WHERE IS MY VOTE?
JOIN: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=91376554583

WE (IRANIANS AND NON-IRANIANS AROUND THE WORLD) ARE GATHERING ON SATURDAY AROUND THE WORLD IN SOLIDARITY WITH MILLIONS OF IRANIAN PROTESTERS WHO ARE SILENTLY PROTESTING THE FRAUDULENT ELECTION OF JUNE 12 AND TO CONDEMN THE VIOLENCE.

1. WE WILL GATHER AT EACH CITY'S MAIN SQUARE
2. WILL TAKE A GROUP PHOTO WITH OUR SIGNS
3. EMAIL 1 PHOTO FROM EACH CITY TO STADEMA88@GMAIL.COM
4. MAKE A PHOTO ALBUM IN AN EMAIL THAT INCLUDES ALL THE CITIES
5. SEND THE PHOTO EMAIL TO OUR FRIENDS IN IRAN (since most websites and social networks are filtered and their internet access is mostly limited to Email)

Email us the LOCATION and TIME of your city's protest before Saturday. Then email us your photos on Sunday.
EMAIL: setadema88@gmail.com
(Thx H-T)

To All...

The opportunity here is to show the Iranian authorities just how widespread interest is - that they really are being watched, and every move scrutinized by the entire world.

That their attempts to stifle communication and awareness have failed and will continue to fail.

If you see this and have a twitter account, please send out a tweet about June 20 and a link to this forum. Thanks.

Has anyone reached out to that gmail address used for "Where is my Vote"?? THey had a website, but has very poor planning for actual cities.

They now have a google maps with protest locations. Might be good to throw that embed up on here? But how trustworthy are those additions, unless they are doing it.

I don't think there's anything going on here so I have a feeling it'll just be me in my green shirt.

Hope I'm wrong.

I got like 8 graduation parties that day :/ and I live in detroit mi, I would gladly drive to Chicago if I didn't have so much going on. If there is a local one I would stop buy for at least a picture.
