Dear users,
I am a PhD-Student from norway. First of all I want to thank you for your work. You've been a source of information not only for me but for several hundrets of people in germany who are either reading your blog or my/our translation of those. Thank you very much.

In the last 7 days I tried to gather serious information on Twitter, several homepages and international news to support people in the german facebook-derivate 'www.studivz.de' with information about Iran.
Today an email was sent to several people in our group to try to set up a global sign of protest (see text below). I sent an email like this to all german and norwegian newspapers I know, I spread it on twitter and the german face book. Friends will post it in the 'real' facebook too. Because I know how many people are reading this blog I am asking you, the users, to support us by sending it to any newspaper, radiostation or institution you know.

we,a group of young people are trying to organize a global protest to show our solidarity to the people in Iran. This is also ment to be a symbol for the people all over the world who are fighting for their freedom peacefully. For this we are asking you to wear a green band around your wrist, on your bag or simply put it on your car or hashmark. The day for the protest is set to saturday 27th of June. Please support us in our efforts.
