And boy will it be ugly when THAT comes out.

Scientology being tied up legally in Australia is a terrific thing for the half dozen cases that we know about pending in America. Moxon can't be everywhere at once and other lawyers are expensive. So far their biggest challenge has been the Headley case, and now they have to deal with the Australian feds and Parliament.

If you can think of any reason to sue Scientology, do it now!

I seem to remember a big thing where Rudd wanted to make senators sit on Fridays so that they work more and and slack off less, and a whole bunch of them went "baaaaaw, but our lazy Fridays "

So yeah, I guess we're waiting till next year.

Least now a timeframe has been given in which to gather a lot more information etc. And to give other exscns more time to step forward if they've been hesitant up until now. A damburst would be great.

Oh that had to do with last minute changes to sitting schedules and the Rudd government not actually planning for more sitting days - 'cause that would mean rearranging accommodation in Canberra, changing flights, and also may clash with commitments the MPs/Senators already have in their electorates, so they were pretty pissy about that.

Oh and we were given a tip-off by someone signing our petition at our November raid about mental health care professionals nearby who'd be very interested in signing, for obvious reasons. So the extra time will definitely be put to good use. I guess that whole CoS war on psychiatry/psychology has it's perks (for us gathering signatures, at least). Good ol' CoS pissin' everyone off and all that.

Well just had a bit of a spat in the Senate about extending travel allowances for senators to have staff come up to Canberra for unscheduled sitting days next weeks (only extends to scheduled sitting days at the moment) - so I'm guessing that's what's happening.

Think it depends on time - whether they can deal with the other things they have to, plus the CPRS legislation. Seems to be that a Friday sitting is pretty likely, and may reconvene next week if it's needed. Sorry, one of them "playing it by ear" things I think. (someone may correct me on this).

- Continue on Friday if still sitting at 11pm tonight
- Gather again on Monday for Government Business (ie: climate stuff) only.
