It would be nice if DM was called as a defendant in any of the cases. I'd love to see him sit on top of those phone books and sweat his ass off trying to become a teflon pan...

It's weird to think that all this was going on in 2000=2001 when keith henson, shy david, I and a host of visitors were picketing Gold Base to protest the deaths of 2 young women there.

We never saw any activity. When we arrived, they'd scatter like a flock of quail. I'm sure this is why the politicians who get the "Disneyland tour" never got a glimpse of any abuse. Oh, look at our boat in the desert! Innit cool?

Interesting tid-bit found at Scientology's corporate sham (repost) from the Wollersheim case:

Since nothing about Cof$ control has really changed since then...

    Barry,

I would like to make a small request that you ignore anything said by J. Swift.

Davie testified as a defence witness in the Ontario Snow White trial:
I guess he lost his taste for being on the stand as the head of Scientology after that. By 1997, he was acting a tad bizarre. (Crime Boss Miscavige: Bizarre Buggery Outburst) And then they pulled out all the stops against Ken Dander, who was going to involve him in the Lisa McPherson civil case, first breaking Bob Minton and using him against Dander, then settling the case (which seems to be where Marty Rathbun picked up a few black marks).

Actually, I think there is a passage which is related to the above in a CSI-submitted article published in the LA Daily Journal (in response to this great article):

Whatever that is he is referring to, he sure sounds traumatized by it.

I hope he's used to it by now.

You mean... there are MOAR people who want to sue this fine upstanding church of the most ethical people on the planet, which is mankind's only hope?? What are their crimes?!?

I just love it when you talk like that. It's like I'm a kid seeing handlebars sticking out of some of my Christmas presents. :D

Actually, "progress" -- like "change" -- is a relative word; there's nothing inherently nice (or not nice) about it. If termites could talk, they'd call what they're doing to your house "progress".

William Hart was my professor in trademark law, and he's actually a pretty decent guy when he's not representing cult leaders, for what that's worth. I don't think he ever had any idea who I was, and I sure wasn't going to tell him, but he was a great professor (and indeed often unshaven). He's not a Scientologist, and not in-house, and likely too expensive for them to use on a regular basis.

Well, you don't think Davie is going to trust a Scientologist lawyer for his own personal legal stuff, do you? He knows how crazy they are! Oscar.gif

How is he going to wind up in prison when he isn't a defendant and this is a civil matter?

Finally decided to look for it... The outburst and CSI's "analysis" in the Daily Mail were referring to this particular post I am sure:
