    Election Night: Senator Sharon Angle?

    Thought one final Sharon Angle thread (at least for now) was warranted for election night. Polls are closed in Nevada but no returns yet.

    Watching for updates around the web and on cable news...

    We may be waiting longer than we'd like:

    Angle is losing so far, but it's not over yet. Sadly, prop 19 looks headed for fail in CA.

    If Reid manages to beat Angle by a very thin margin, I think Chanology should get credit for actually affecting the makeup of the US senate.

    In a 'butterfly effect' sense, and not in a 'mastermind sense'.

    Angle surely would have done better if not for Nathan Baca.

    And I don't think Baca would have been there if it weren't for us.

    But don't get all self-congratulatory. Race is still up in the air. And it's not like we deserve 'credit' for this; it's just an observation of impossibly complex cause-and-effect in hindsight.

    I can. Happens in every election.

    People vote against the prevailing political party when the economy sucks... it's a reactive vote... the Tea Party picked up steam... but it didn't help the former witch in Delaware.

    Looks like we're waiting for the rural Nevada vote to come in....which is likely Angle territory.

    Disclaimer: I'm an angry bitter liberal who thinks Harry Reid is the cancer killing my party (among numerous others), but that whack-job Sharon Angle is just toooo nutty, Scientology connection aside.

    52-44 with 65% in now.

    And as for the lulz that Angle's trying to pull with the DoJ.. just shows how desperate she is to keep herself in the spotlight even though she knows her defeat is imminent.

    Personally, I'm surprised just under 10,000 people voted for NOTA. I kinda expected that number would be higher.
