There has been a move of the FCC vote to end net neutrality to December. A few of us want to make a serious statement. https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_FCC_Protest/ As of now, we do not have a date due to the FCC not announcing their date, but those of us involved from other communities (reddit, freenode, etc) wish to come together and stage a DC protest in person, to put a face to the letters and comments they are ignoring. Initial planning, area, etc, are in early development, so feel free to toss out any ideas you have! I'm no stranger to the whole process of DC protest permits, etc, so that aspect is well covered. We need to stand and make a point. We can't let our internet become pay to win for the consumer! Don't let the FCC be like EA Games!
We will be there on the 13th, and we are staying all night and into the morning to #StopTheVote. More information here: https://www.facebook.com/events/238168326716425/ or on PopularResistance.org. Contact us at info@popularresistance.org.
