Traffic Accidents on Gilman Springs Rd.

These two collisions occurred yesterday, 18 Jan. 2010.
Here is a 3 party collision at Gilman and Lambs Canyon Rd. Three critical, 2 moderate injuries.
Lambs Canyon Rd. is the continuation of highway 79 at the I-10 freeway onramp. This collision did not occur on the part of GSR the cult deems "unsafe."

Earlier that day there was a fatality on GSR at Lakeview-Nuevo, where a car ran into a trash truck:

Both of these accidents were probably due in part to rain. Neither accident occurred near the segment Scientology wishes closed, but I'll bet they will fail to mention this when pushing for road closure.

They'll probably forget this one too - but probably because it's their fault.

If rain seems to be the main cause of most accidents, and the cult is SO concerned about people's safety.... then maybe the cult would be interested in paying for the hwy to have grooves put it in to make it safer. You know becasue they are so concerned about people's safety and all :)

This is further proof that Gilman Springs Road needs to be widened and straightened in the interest of safety.

GSR is a dangerous road and need not be.

And maybe stop sprinkling the road creating unexpected slippery wet patches on dry days.
