Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery and yet he still had the backbone to take on the criminal cult
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Pain sucks. I hope the surgery will mean that his back pain is gone.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery All he needed to do was to see a good Chiropractor.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery If I were a woman, I would want his babies. That is all.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery I fell Xeno's concern. I've have two spinal fusions and one grafting of my abdominal aorta for an aneurysm that did not burst (survival rate approximately zero, even if it happens in an emergency room). Some of us just have those genes that our fathers and mothers died from at an early age, before corrective surgery was available. ...and, nobody is going to tell me that morphine, fentanyl, etc., are great drugs. I've seen too many little green and purple people to do any drugs, voluntarily, legal or not. Don't get me started on the connect-the-dots picture on my hospital tray that kept me occupied for several days, completely "alert", because my nurse wouldn't bring me a pencil to connect the dots and let me push that button on the morphine machine. ...or the clock that ran backwards in the hospital room. ...or that time after back surgery that I had a nicotine breakdown and walked out of the hospital in the dead of night in a morphine fog and had a couple of cigarettes at the bus stop. That one caused a rift with hospital security! Come to think of it, I AM still alive. Anyway, I KNOW Xeno's concern about surgeries.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Senator Xenophon already exemplifies moral courage, and now we learn that he also exemplifies the physical courage to gracefully perform a demanding job despite past and present health issues. He must have been surmounting considerable pain, but all we could see is an articulate Senator taking a stand against organized Scientology or speaking out about global warming.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Spinal Fusion - What is Spinal Fusion Surgery - Lumbar Fusion Video - About.com
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery The irony there being that as a 'British' band, Spinal Tap would not be called that as the british name for that procedure is a lumbar puncture
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Actually, I'm slated for spinal fusion surgery, but have been advised by the orthopedic surgeon that I have to lose 60 lbs., before surgery can commence, because he has to enter through the stomach to fuse the vertebrae. Evidently, serious complications and/or death can arise if an overweight person received spinal fusion. And I don't have OT powerz to improve my chances. Casper had spinal fusion years ago and came out OK, but the rigidity in his posture when he walks is very apparent.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Will see if I find which hospital he's in (I have a fair idea already) and arrange some flowers or gift to be sent.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Oh, sure. Last thing I need is a crazy, fat cult-tard showing me how to lose weight. No thanks.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery Hey smurf, I am hoping that you lose that gut! My, friend best of luck! Get the surgery you need to fix your back and to get a smaller crack
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery I've circulated for one of those surgeries. DO NOT WANT. Wish him all the best! It's a hard surgery to recover from, but people typically do pretty damn well after it.
Re: Xenophon recovering from spinal fusion surgery This is getting way too fucking weird. Just keep your surgeries to yourself.
